We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designerto work from of our new studio at the İzmir location.
Responsibilities
Research and analyze current and emerging fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and trims.
Identify key trends and determine how they can appropriately be expressed our designs.
Develop and present new concepts for each collectionwell aligned with our brand.
Visualize new designs using hand sketches and CAD.
Determine fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design.
Provide fabric and trim sourcing, manufacturing sourcing, and sample production.
Develop “Tech Packs” that accurately communicate our designs to our production partners.
Oversee the production of designs, including fittings and revisions.
Ensure the product is being designed within our cost parameters.
Communicate with vendors on design issues.
Qualifications
Superior knowledge of fashion design principles
Ability to usetrend forecasting, theme board design, and color story
Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
In-depth knowledge of garment technology,textile print designs, and knitwear.
Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns.
Ability to create technical illustrations and other design content
Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent attention to details
Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines
Ability to enjoy and thrive in a start-up company environment
